The Halliburton EquiStar® Tubing Retrievable Safety Valve (TRSV) is a tubing pressure insensitive, non-equalizing, flapper-type safety valve
Talk to an expertThe Halliburton EquiStar® tubing-retrievable safety valve (TRSV) builds upon the legacy of the Halliburton SP™ TRSV platform with an added proprietary balance line feature that accommodates deep-set applications. The EquiStar TRSV is a non-elastomer rod-piston flapper valve designed to function independently of well pressure. It operates at consistently low hydraulic pressure without the need for gas-charged chambers, which makes it an ideal solution for deepwater, ultra-deepwater, high-pressure/high-temperature (HP/HT), and gas-storage applications.
Helps to eliminate setting depth constraints, increase reliability, and reduce capex.
World’s first electric tubing-retrievable safety valve, enabling a fully electric completion system with zero risk of exposing electronics to wellbore fluid.
A single rod-piston non-elastomer flapper valve designed for general production with enhanced reliability and long life.
NeoStar CS TRSV retains the features of the legacy SP safety valve and is equipped with the ultralow temperature operation and survival capabilities for CCUS.
WellStar is a general production, hydraulically operated, downhole TRSV designed to enhances the valve’s overall reliability and provide trouble-free operation.
Halliburton tubing-retrievable and wireline-retrievable subsurface safety valves are a field-proven solution for operators.
